For Any Middle School Student

 

AQ-IQ Contest Guidelines

The Air Quality IQ contest allows middle school students to show off what they know about air quality problems and solutions. Each game, poster, brochure, diorama, video, poems, or journal will highlight air quality issues, and how to resolve those issues.

  • Any sixth, seventh, or eighth grade student from any public, private, or home school in Buncombe, Henderson, Haywood, and Madison counties is eligible to participate.
  • 1 - 4 students may submit a project together.  No more than 4 students may submit a shared project.  Working individually or as a group will not affect judging of the project.
  • The Clean Air Community Trust reserves the right to keep projects to use as educational tools, otherwise it will be available for students to take home after the Air Expo.
  • Projects Due at the Clean Air Community Trust office between November 26 and November 30, 2007
  • Awarded will be presented at the third annual Air Expo in January of 2008

 

Get started EARLY!  The competition gets tougher every year!
