Save Energy - Save Money - Save the Environment
A large portion of pollution comes from the burning of coal to produce electricity.  By making your home and work place as energy efficient as possible - you create a win-win.  You prevent pollution and save $$$$!

Our goal of distributing 10,000 compact fluorescent light bulbs is getting closer!

7,812 CFL's and counting!

 FACTS about CACT's energy-saving CFL's:

- use 75% less energy than regular bulbs, same light

- burn for 12,000 hours (vs. 1,000 for regular)

- last from 7 to 10 years (burning 3-4 hours per day)

- are Energy Star rated by the EPA

- come on instantly and are flicker-free

- produce a warm white light

                   Why make the switch?

Environmental Savings

Replace one 60-watt with a 13-watt CFL, you prevent  662 pounds of CO2

Replace one 75-watt with a 20-watt CFL, you prevent  762 pounds of CO2

Replace one 100-watt with a 25-watt CFL, you prevent 1,050 pounds of CO2

Converting 2 regular 100-watt bulbs to 25-watt CFL bulbs will prevent over a ton of pollution!

Economic Savings

In utility bill savings (over the life of the bulb), installing one...

13-watt CFL will save you $33.00

20-watt CFL will save you $39.00

25-watt CFL will save you $53.00

Cost savings based on utility rate of 7 cents per KWH
