Share the Ride NC is a great opportunity for employers and employees to work together for a cleaner, healthier environment and a better business!

Carpooling to work provides a variety of benefits to the employer or business:

  • higher employee productivity and morale

  • decrease in employee absences from work

  • higher rates of employee punctuality

  • reduces need to build or acquire larger parking area

Plus! Employers who encourage and reward carpooling employees experience higher employee retention rates and job satisfaction!

The Clean Air Community Trust will visit your business to talk to your employees about participating in Share the Ride NC.

Presentations can range from 10 - 30 minutes based on available time slot. CACT has visited many local employers and businesses at events including:

  • Lunch and Learn workshops

  • Health and Wellness Fairs

  • New Employee Orientation

  • Company Picnics and Gatherings
